💻📒Happy Friday! It's that time of year again where the highlighters & hole punch come out to organise my year end books & invoices! Every year I say I'm going to keep on top of it month by month & I never do, its just one of those jobs I dont enjoy! On the plus side I picked myself up a little treat from to enjoy as a reward this afternoon! 😍🍰
We are open until 4:30 today with Ruth on the shop floor & I'll be in the shop tomorrow (Sat) from 9:30-4 😊

🎡🎠☀️Happy Bank Holiday weekend! 🎺🤹‍♂️🎪
Just had to share our window with you all, it's inspired by the Children's Whit Festival that's taking place on Monday - we decided to go with a fun circus theme including all our hand made creatures doing tricks! It's always a great family day, and the day of the year I remember so well from childhood being a part of the procession in fancy dress! It's so lovely being able to take Henry to watch now & I can't wait to get stuck in with the floats when the time comes for him to go to school! The weather looks set to be very much in favour of the day for a change! 😎🌞
🪡Our workshop window has also had a much needed update with lots of great classes coming up before & after summer so be sure to have a look when you're passing!🧶
We are open tomorrow (Sat) as usual 9:30am - 4:00pm, Ruth will be in all day & we are closed on Monday as we normally are! Hope you all have a super weekend 😄

🧶Hello! Apologies, I've been lacking on the social media posting front... but we've had some lovely new arrivals in the shop so it's perfect excuse to get back in to posting!😆
📦On Friday we received a delivery from King Cole, including 'Homespun Prism Aran' with their 2 brand new colours & a new baby range called 'Little Lamb', we also have a sample of each yarn knitted up to see for yourselves how lovely they are when you pop in the shop! 😍
🧶Homespun Prism Aran is a soft, richly tonal yarn made up of 22.5% Fine Merino superwash, 22.5% Alpaca, 30% Acrylic, 22.5% Polyamide, 2.5% Viscose. It offers a range of patterns for men, women & children & is a great yarn for showcasing cabling!
🐑 Little Lamb Double knit is for the ones you cherish most. Wrap them in the quiet luxury of a merino, cashmere-effect blend. Every garment can become a keepsake with its gentle drape and delicate warmth. The patterns & colours are truly beautiful and it is so soft with a 60% extra fine merino & 40% cashmere effect polyamide, think soft snuggly blankets & hats! Each pattern also comes with access to a free knitted lamb toy!
🪡I've also added to our buttons topping up colours that we seemed to be missing in all sorts of different designs, poor Rachel had the task on Saturday of fitting them all into the button stand & she did a great job!

🪡🥳Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, I'm still recovering from a busy weekend celebrating my Henry's 3rd Birthday... Time has flown. My wonderful mum made a chocolate, tractor farm cake as requested by Henry himself! I think she smashed the criteria & Henry was over the moon with it- he was still saying thank you to her when I dropped him at their house this morning! 🥹🎂🚜🐮
🪡We had a delivery of Poppie Cotton Fabrics last week 'My Darling Deer' features deer among meadows, florals, birds & more in hues of lavender, plum, sky, navy & cream! Perfect for home decor projects, baby quilts & more! It's available in the shop now & will be hitting our website this week🦌💐

🌞What a glorious start to my working week at the shop- Sunshine! I'm just enjoying what I find a therapeutic job- winding practice balls of yarn for our crochet classes, the repetitive motion is quite relaxing in between finishing writing my job list for the week!😃🧶
🦙🧶🐑 Just thought I'd share a closer look at some of the Emma Ball goodies we had delivered the other week - we have various sizes of tins, project notebooks, mini tins with stitch markers inside, pin cushions & tags for your handmade garments, or to pop on a project that needs to go into hibernation so you know where you were up to when you have chance to return to it! Emma Ball makes great gifts & a beautiful way of organising your crafting treasures starting at £3.50! ☺️
🧵We also get asked quite a lot of pre-printed embroidery fabrics or designs such as table cloths or runners; we now have a lovely selection available of various seasons, all kits include everything you need!🪡
