Summer at Warhammer Metro
Throughout the Summer holidays, every Monday to Friday, from 10am - 1pm we’ll be focusing on Battle Honours activities, perfect if you need to earn some stamps, get help with an activity, or introduce a friend to the Worlds of Warhammer - give us a call to book your space.
Starting this Saturday the 25th of July, we’ve got some awesome new activities and events going on:
Summer Campaign: War For Armageddon!
Intense battles rage across Armageddon as Ghazghull Thraka’s Ork Waaagh! clashes with the Imperial Forces led by Commissar Yarrick and bolstered by the Space Marines of Operation Imperator. You and your friends can join in fighting over five different theatres of war, by completing hobby activities, earning campaign points and reporting your results in store. The winning side will be announced on Saturday 5th September! There’s a variety of activities you can complete to earn points, such as:
Take part in an introductory experience, come and try Warhammer for the first time. (5pts)
Take part in a Battle Honours activity in store or earn Battle Honours stamps. (3pts)
Take part in a Try Something New activity in store. (2pts)
Take part in a Warhammer Alliance activity. (1pts)
Earn points and rewards for painting, 25, 50 and 100 miniatures. (1pts)
Earn points and rewards for bringing a friend down and getting them started on their Warhammer journey. (1pts)
Join in with the Combat Patrol Celebration. (1pts)
That leads us onto our other big Summer event, The Combat Patrol Celebration!
Joining in is really easy, simply pick a Combat Patrol, Build and Paint it throughout the summer holidays, and bring it in on Saturday 5th September to show off your hard work! We’ll have space in store every Wednesday for you to come down and work on your Combat Patrol, get some hands on hobby guidance, and see what everyone else is working on too. This ties in nicely with the War For Armageddon Summer Campaign, as you will earn points for working on your Combat Patrol and getting your friends to join in too.
Gabe and I have already picked our Combat Patrols, I’m planning on doing the Chaos Space Marines as Night Lords, and Gabe is going to do the Dark Angels as Alpha Legion, what will YOU be doing?
