Really sad to have missed the official opening of the mural across the arches in Gateshead where G Scott Cars used to be. An amazing project which we were very pleased to support during the community engagement phase. If you are a collector of the Green Heart Collective post cards over the years you may recognize some of this. Well done to everyone involved and hope everyone has a great day.

Tomorrow we are trying something new. We are selling specialist Railway books at Gateshead Stadium at the Northern Toy Fair. Lots of railway modellers and rail enthusiasts should be there to see the amazing range of books we have. All set up and ready to go. Love toys? Why not pop in and say hi. Open until 2:30pm. Entry from £4.50.

Come along at 10:30 with your own men's shirt or choose one from our collection.

Then we can decide on the design and guide you through the process.

I've loved the Late Shows for many years, first as a visitor and now as a venue.

Do pop along to see our incredible Alt Met Gala exhibition and to make your unique fabric badge inspired by the designs on display.

Hot and cold drinks and a range of tasty snacks available for refuelling too before heading off to the other great venues in Gateshead Town Centre.

Yes it's a red carpet. And yes, I will hoover it before Thursday 7 May!

One more week until our amazing Alt Met Gala and I can't sleep with excitement!

It's going to be a fab event and you're sure to enjoy it. You'll be welcomed as a VIP guest with fuzz and canapes, treated to a runway show of upcycled fashion worthy of a Met Gala and encouraged to dance the night away.
