Hi Everyone 👋

So.. Nearly 35 years of serving the community we have officially stepped down.

There have been so many incredible memories during these years that I would need to write a book. Some highlights from our incredible customers over the years:

- local legend Barbara dropping off the boys to nursery in the 90’s whilst Shaz opened the shop

- Another legend Brian waited outside the shop every morning at 7am to make sure Shaz had no issues opening and waited inside whilst she’d do the school run, for years during the 2000’s.

- Tony and another customer (apologies id forgotten his name) helping Ali set up the newspapers every day at 6am up for so many years up until recently. Also shouted at him for opening late (basically every day). 😆

- A general shout out to all those times our community stepped in whenever there was any trouble at the shop. You all know who you are, thank you! 💙

- The time when we’d forgotten to close the shutters one night and a customer waited nearly 2 hours outside until he could get in contact with us to let us know, he then proceeded to wait until we arrived ensuring the shop was safe!

The memories go on forever! 💙

But as time goes on, we had to say goodbye and pass the torch on to the new owners Manesh and his Wife.

We’re still going to be hovering around Felling as it’s our home and where our kids have grown up so this is not a goodbye, rather a see you around.

We truly love you all and wish you all the best for the future!
