What started as a one-man band in a small shop has grown into one of the largest suppliers of mobility products in the NORTH EAST, and we’re incredibly proud to now be one of the largest Motability dealers in the UK! 🚀

Over the past 20 years, we’ve grown to 4 shops, built a large, fully equipped repair workshop and, most importantly, supported thousands of customers across the North East to stay mobile, independent and confident in the products they rely on.

We asked our newest member of the team, Eric… yes, we know — another Eric! 😂 It seems we’re collecting them now!

We asked him what he’s enjoyed most since joining the Mobility Direct North team, and his answer was simple…

“Helping people” ❤️

For us, it’s never just about selling a mobility scooter, powerchair, rise & recline chair or any other mobility product.

It’s about seeing the difference the right product can make to someone’s life.

It might mean getting back out into town, visiting family, enjoying the garden, going on holiday, or simply having that little bit more independence and confidence.

And when you see someone’s face light up because they’ve found something that can genuinely make life easier… that’s the bit that makes the job special. 🥰
