One press. One white. One matched set.

Here’s why that matters more than it sounds.

Most couples end up ordering their wedding print from about six different places. Invitations from an online shop. Order of service from the church’s printer. Seating plan from a sign company. Menus from whoever came back cheapest.

And there’s no such thing as “white”. There’s brilliant white, soft white, ivory, oyster, natural — all sold to you as white, none of them quite the same white.

Six parcels arrive over about four months and every one of them looks lovely on its own. Then your menu, your place card and your table number end up forty centimetres apart on a dressed table under candlelight, and it’s the first thing you see.

So we print the whole lot ourselves. Same stock, same ink, same run.

Christmas gets printed in September.

Not because we’re rushing you. Because the party menus have to be on tables before people book, and people book in October.

Here’s the rest of 2026, with the order-by dates:

Christmas party bookings — now
Halloween — early Oct
Bonfire Night — mid Oct
Christmas retail and POS — mid Oct
Christmas cards and calendars — late Oct
New Year and January — mid Nov

Four months of work that all lands on the same three weeks if everybody leaves it. The ones who order early get the studio time, the paper they wanted, and no rush fee. The ones who don’t get whatever’s left in the third week of November.

Eight things you’ll forget to print for your wedding.

Most couples get to about three and stop. The florist gets booked, the cars get booked, and the printing gets left until someone asks what’s going on the tables.

Number 4 is the one that catches people out. It’s the biggest thing you’ll print, every name has to be spelled right, and it can’t be finalised until the last RSVP is in — usually about ten days before the day. Leave it later than that and you’re paying for speed.

The other trap is ordering all eight from different places. The cream on your invites won’t be the cream on your menus, and you’ll only notice when they’re sat side by side on the table. We print the lot under one roof — same stock, same ink, same run, all of it made here in Dunston.
