Rook Botanics Rook Botanics is a Glasgow based floral company that provides workshops, funeral flowers, wedding and event florals.

Three normal reasons (and a slightly unhinged one!) to come to May's flower crown workshop.

Come learn about flowers and make a gorgeous floral headdress. There will be plenty of opportunities to get some lovely photos of you in your magnificent flower crown.

Time: 11am - 12.30pm

Tickets: £55 plus Eventbrite fees

A wee snack and a glass of prosecco is included. I'm located round the corner from some excellent Southside coffee shops, so you're welcome to bring along your own drinks and treats.

Absolutely no experience needed & all matierals are provided for you.

It's been five years since my grandma died. This year feels harder than last. Rook Botanics probably wouldn't have started if it hadn't been for my Grandma.

I put my OOO on and spent the morning with a pal walking round QP, then grabbed my sketchbook and a biro and headed to Greenbank Garden. Feeling so grateful for all the green spaces in Glasgow.

Sending so much love to anyone whose life has been affected by dementia. It sucks. But it's nice to share silly stories about my Grandma. She would have tutted so loudly at me if she knew I was telling this tale.

My heart is so full! Just the most incredible weekend celebrating the wedding of Becky and Mavez. I feel so lucky to have experienced it.

My nerdy, flower obsessed brain lapped up ever single moment, the marigold garlands, the fragrant rose petals we threw at the happy couple as the sun set, all the florals that decorated the mandap. A weekend I'll never forget!

Hopefully it won't be too long until I can dance to Feeder with my pals again.

I’m backkkk. The trees gone to the woodchipper, the holly berries have been composted and all the red velvet ribbons have been packed away until next year.

Before we know it’ll be wedding season. I’ve still got some limited availability for 2026 and my diary is wide open for 2027 so get in touch if you’d like some heartfelt, gorgeous and unforgettable flowers.

Twelve workshops in thirteen days! I am tired but so grateful to all 175 people who have been along to a Rook Botanics workshop. Your front doors will be the envy of your streets ✨🎀

Thank you to the wonderful freelancers , and for keeping me sane! And of course, the biggest thanks to the hours of help from .runciman 🖤

Now I just need to tackle the 33 unread WhatsApp conversations, the outstanding wedding quotes and my eye wateringly messy studio. Wish me luck.

Half way through wreath season! Six workshops down, six to go. 🎀

I'm absolutely not looking this fresh faced right now. There's twigs in my hair, moss under my nails and all my pockets are full of foliage off cuts.

Hoping all my fellow florists are staying hydrated and keeping their hands moisturised ✨
