to this time last year at my graduating gala where the inspirations for my pieces I've created since then all started with this model. I was lucky enough to receive an award for this piece! Landing 3rd place in my class for overall branding (portfolio, business cards and kiosk). So thankful for the experience gained and lessons learned over the years!

Little late on this post considering they were Christmas presents that I made... However I thought I'd share anyways because they're a super creative idea for any gift! Recycled wood used as picture frames. I used old photos, edited them and printed them at a larger scale. Then made the frames according to size. Very easy and affordable!

Some chairs I recently repainted with Fusion H Champlain White Mineral Based Furniture Paint. To add some interest I added a Vertical Strip of Serenity Blue Ultra Matte Chalk Paint and a Horizontal Strip of Country Grey Ultra Matte Chalk Paint on the other. Both of which are then finished with a Matte Clear Chalked Protective TopCoat.

So pleased to announce that MK Interiors has made their first ever sale. This hand crafted head board has now found a new home with the right owner. It has been a learning curve every since I started this page 2 and a half months ago but one of the most important things I've learned is that patience is key. Most importantly one of the biggest challenges is finding the right opportunities and places to show case my work for the right customer to find it. With that being said this is a great starting point and I can't wait to see what else 2016 has to bring. Happy New Year to all and thank-you to the ones that have been following me these past couple months!
