Finally, the annual World Carp Classic, which is held in Orellana this year, is here, and it is one of Spain's top carp fishing venues . The venue is known by many anglers and also known for huge carp up to 81.5lb + 🐳
Specimen Baits is again this year the sponsor of the event, and we have two teams participating in the competition, which starts on Monday at 14:00 and lasts until Saturday at 8:00.
Our Danish team is again this year made up of Anders Herrgård Jepsen, Søren Bøgemose Lund and signed.
We left home on Wednesday, and the 1,864 miles long drive took 52 hours including breaks.
Anders was a bit smarter and took the flight to Malaga.
Thus, the trip was completed in about 7 hours.
This year there is a lottery for places at registration. The sections are defined with a lucky wheel tomorrow. Right now, we only know that we have to fish from position 4 in one of the sections.
This year there are 182 teams participating in the competition, and it is fantastic to be back and meet old and new friends. The atmosphere is already at its peak down here. 🙌
