The Up In Smoke Theatre Company is a Family-run business based in North Dorset specialising in the sale and hire of Sound & Light equipment, the sale Bonfire night style products and Everything(!) else Entertainment! We also sell a vast range of Party products including Helium Balloons, Banners, Confetti, Decorations and everything else you could possibly need for your event.

Our hire department is one of our busiest sections and there's no hire too big or small... From a single lead right through to a complete Sound & Lighting System - We can even provide staging if needs be! Bonfire night associated products are in stock and available for purchase 365 days a year and we can cater for any budget - from smaller party stuff through to Professional Display items. We have plenty of easy to use, do-it-yourself disco kits available for hire meaning you can have a full disco, playing as late as you like (or even the next day) and with your exact choice of music. The speakers in this kit are very loud and have been used & hired by many local DJ's, so you can be certain they are loud enough. So whether you're after a Balloon or a Full-On Party then get in touch with our friendly team now! We're open most of the week but do have lots of outside activities which mean we can't always do standard hours (Please phone to confirm we're open before coming in just to be sure) ... The kettle is always hot! We have plenty of free parking, meaning you don't have to carry your balloons, fireworks or hire kit very far at all (you can load up right outside the door).
