A slower life, fresh flowers and food from the garden. I honestly don’t think there’s anything better. 🌿🌸🥚
After a couple of days away, it was such a lovely feeling to come home this evening to freshly laid eggs, crunchy radishes, sweet peas, one very determined little carrot 😂 and an abundance of beautiful blooms waiting to be picked.
The garden has been a little neglected these past few weeks while I’ve been pouring my heart into creating farewell flowers, weddings and event florals. This time of year is always incredibly busy, but coming home to the garden reminds me why I started growing flowers in the first place.
There’s something so special about watching the seasons unfold, growing flowers from seed, cutting them at their best and sharing them with others. It feels like a little piece of the countryside in every bunch.
Once I get through this busy week, I’m hoping to spend some much-needed time back in the garden and have some beautiful homegrown Brunston Bunches ready to share with you all. I can’t wait. 🌸
Who else dreams of a little more homegrown and a little less hurried? 🤍
