Brilliant to see this GR80 👏👏

A few youngsters looked at us a wee bit strangely the other day when we were talking about GR80. 🥸🥸🥸
“Who’s Gerry Rafferty?” they asked. Should we ask our da’s? Unbelievable. 🫢

But then again, maybe that’s the point — music is a time machine, a memory bank, a passing thing, and sometimes a whole new discovery waiting to happen.

So yes, maybe it’s generational. Maybe it’s taste. Maybe it’s both. Either way, we’re bringing GR80 to Paisley as a celebration of Gerry Rafferty’s life and times — with music, spoken word, comedy and art all in the mix.

It’s always a really well-run event with a fantastic mix of talented makers, great food and a lovely atmosphere, so if you’re looking for something a little different, it’s well worth a visit.

Windy says s**t few days and weeks recently although we did see a decent spell in May recording a few +26c degrees and a +27c degrees (Scotland's warmest day oh the year to date)

Anyway. This was forecast on Monday June 15th (bottom right hand corner), and it's for next week

I went for Tuesday June 23rd which was no a bad punt 8 days out

Looks like it's a transitional day this Saturday, with SUNDAY the best day oh the weekend and a glorious day for most with a fair amount oh sunshine and highs of +19/21c degrees

Then it's all change (for the better) as we go into next week

They'll be crazy high temperatures down in ENGLANDSHIRE with high of +37/39c degrees, possibly a cheeky wee +40c degrees, but SCOTLAND won't get any of that but it'll still be Scottish warm with most of the country seeing low to mid 20's on average

Just need to get today out the way first eh
