I know I’ve been a little quiet over here lately, and I’m sorry! 🙈
Since reopening, I’ve been kept very busy behind the scenes, so I’ve just been keeping my head down, getting stuck into your orders and enjoying being back doing what I love 🥰

I just wanted to take a little moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has messaged, ordered, checked in, shared my posts or simply sent a lovely message since I reopened ❤️
It honestly means more than you know to have you all coming back and supporting my little business. Every single order, big or small, makes such a difference and I’m incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. 🫶✨

✨ Just Personalised by Laura is reopening! ✨

After a very busy summer, I'm finally getting myself back into the swing of things and I'm ready to start taking personalised orders again. 💕

I've had a lovely but hectic couple of months with holidays, volunteering, birthdays and unfortunately, quite a fair bit of drama and stress thrown in for good measure! 🙈

I've had quite a few messages while I've been closed and I have got back to everyone now, if I have missed anyone just give me a wee nudge.

I also wanted to be honest and let you know that I'm hopefully going to be having my wrist operation soon. 🤞🏻
You've heard this before...I hear you say 😂
I know I've been saying this for what feels like forever now, and I genuinely didn't expect the wait for surgery to take this long especially as I am on the "urgent" list and have been for a year and kept getting told myself it would be a few months max. But I've now had my pre-op refreshed (it had expired) and signed my consent forms, I've been told I'm top of the list (again🙈) and I'll finally have a date very soon 🙏🏻 (hopefully🤞🏻).

Because of this, there is a chance I may need to close for orders again at fairly short notice once I get my surgery date. So I won't be taking preorders for weeks/months down the line. Any orders will be made as and when they come in. I hope you'll understand that this is completely out of my hands and I just don't want to take on more orders than I can comfortably fulfil.

For now though, I'm OPEN! 🥰
I'll be working mainly with stock and materials I already have available, so if you're looking for something personalised, please feel free to drop me a message and I'll let you know what I can do.

Hi everyone! 👋

I hope you're all surviving the summer holidays! ☀️ It's been a very busy one for us and it's absolutely flown by. We had the most amazing family holiday, our first trip abroad with the kids in years, and I also had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Commonwealth Games at Tollcross for the swimming. What an experience! I met so many lovely people and it was definitely a real highlight for me. 💜🩵🩷
Schools are back next week though, so normal routine is finally making a comeback! 🙌🏻🥳 Anyone else excited?

I thought I'd pop on with a little update about myself and the business.

As many of you know, I was told I'd have my wrist operation by the end of July... well, surprise, surprise... it still hasn't happened! 🙈😂 It's certainly been a bit of a saga!

On the positive side, I had my pre-op assessment refreshed last week and I have an appointment with my surgeon next Wednesday. I'm really hoping I'll finally get some answers and a clearer idea of what's happening and also a date. To be honest, I'm getting a bit fed up with all the waiting now and all the disruption it's causing my business. My wrist is still causing me a lot of pain and discomfort, and I'd just love to get it sorted.

July and August are always my quietest months for business but my busiest months at home, with the boys' birthdays, the schools going back, and lots of appointments to fit in between.

With all that in mind, I've decided to keep Just Personalised by Laura closed until at least the end of next week. This gives me a chance to get organised, find out what's happening with my operation, and make a proper plan going forward.

Rather than opening and closing the business every few days, I'd rather wait until I know where things stand. I know that's much better for you all as customers, and for me and the business too, especially as I'll need to close for a couple of months when my operation finally comes around.

I'm hoping to have a much clearer picture after next week's appointment, and I'll keep you all updated as soon as I know more. 🤞🏻

In the meantime, here's a wee photo of me volunteering at the Commonwealth Games! 💜🩵🩷 If you ever get the chance to volunteer at an event like that, I'd absolutely recommend it. It was such a brilliant experience and I met some amazing people along the way.

Hi everyone 💖

Just a little update to let you all know that my order book is now temporarily closed.

I'm taking a few weeks off to enjoy some quality time with the kids and had originally hoped to reopen around 23rd July. However, with my wrist operation still pending for July, I'm unsure when I'll be able to return and didn't want to make any promises I might not be able to keep.

In the meantime, I've been given an exciting opportunity to volunteer at the Commonwealth Games at the end of July and beginning of August! 🏅✨ Because of this, I've decided that if my operation doesn't go ahead as planned, I'll be taking all of July and at least the first week of August away from the business so I can be part of the behind-the-scenes action.

As many of you know, things have been a wee bit up in the air since I broke my wrist last year, so I'll share an update on my reopening date as soon as I have more information myself. 💕

I also want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to every single one of you for your continued support, encouragement, and all the lovely well wishes I've received. It truly means the world to me. 🥹💖

You are the most amazing customers and supporters I could ever ask for, and I'm so grateful to have met such a wonderful group of ladies (and the occasional gent! 😉) over the last five and a half years.

Morning everyone 😊

Who's lucky enough to have today off for the bank holiday?

I still can't quite believe Scotland won yesterday! 🙌🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ It's great to still be in with a chance.

Just a little reminder that this will be the last week to order personalised items before I take some time off. I'll be closing my order book on Sunday 21st June, with all orders needing to be collected by 26th June. This will give me enough time to get everything made and ready for collection.

As I've mentioned before, I'm still waiting to hear about my operation, which is due to take place later in July. Unfortunately, I haven't had any updates yet, so I'm unable to confirm when I'll be reopening. Even if the operation is delayed, I already have another commitment at the end of July, so it's looking unlikely that I'll be back before August. I'll keep the page updated as soon as I know more. It feels a bit like living in limbo at the moment!

I've also had quite a few messages asking if it's too late to order teacher gifts or leavers' decals. The answer is definitely not! If you'd like to place an order, just send me a message. My current turnaround time is 3-5 days, although it may be sooner.

If you've been meaning to get in touch about anything personalised and keep putting it off, send me a wee message soon so you don't miss out. All orders will need to be collected by 26th June, and I'll be closing the book a few days before then to make sure everything is finished and ready in plenty of time.

As I've mentioned before, the plan is to reopen around mid to late July. However, as my wrist operation may be scheduled for July, I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll keep you all updated as soon as I know more.
