GREAT WEEKEND...with my gorgeous bambino’s! Walks, muddy boots and and abundance of chocolate - oh and the occasional wee squabble thrown in for good measure 😂😂

DESIGN INDECISION....What to do with the mezzanine 🤔🤔...(photograph taken from my cosy corner while I was pondering this question earlier!)...I think the balcony section needs to be more visible so it feels more open and inviting from the upper floor and rather than being an unused space, i can use it as a reading nook.....so the decision is whether is so I
1.glaze it or;
2 do some sort of wood type feature akin to the stairs??..if I was glazing it I think I would slap a big rectangle in it and use wood edging so it looks similar to other internal glazed window 🤔🤔

FAKE GRASS...who would have thought some artificial grass would cause such a stir! My garden (that is, my old garden!) was recently shared on (thank you so much for sharing) and I couldn’t believe the debate that ensued about fake grass!
I totally understand why it doesn’t appeal to everyone and I totally get it- nothing beats gorgeous fresh grass - but, blimey, some of the comments were brutal! 🤣
So for my new garden design - you guessed it - I’m sticking with the artificial grass! Why? It isn’t a large area, and somewhat bog like at the moment with all the rain! , so with three young kids who love kicking a ball up and down - it just works for us

THE BURNHOUSE...here is it is, our new home, in a new area for us; a lovely village called Houston, in the outskirts of Glasgow.
The house is built on a slope so it’s a bit of an upside down house and as the kids keep telling everyone, there are loads of layers! 😂, three to be exact 😜😂
The new journey starts here! Getting my priorities in order, i’m starting with the garden transformation, front and back. Can’t wait to share my plans and transformation with everyone!
Ps. Sorry its taken me so long to reply to messages, my account was hacked (twice), I had connectivity issues and I had a badly sprained wrist (as a result of a cabinet door falling from height! 😜) so decided it was a sign I needed a break to recharge my insta mojo!

COSY CORNER....Hope everyone is having a good weekend. How awful is this weather?!! We spent the day tucked up and enjoying some relax time - and tackling the various leaks that has appeared in the house with the heavy rain 😢 the wee one keeps moving the pots on the floor - it’s driving me crackers! She thinks it’s a game! 🥰

THROWBACK...throwing it back to an old house of ours , and my favourite bathroom of all time . This was our first home, and joint renovation project, together. Many happy memories spent re-enamelling the original bath and fixing the beautiful vitrolite tiles. Hours of works after work in the evenings after work, glass of wine in hand, tunes on abs having a right old laugh! You can’t see it in the photo but we put up an Art Deco style massive chandelier - it was a grand bathroom so it deserved it! 😂
