Thank you to everyone who joined us at yesterday’s Glasgow Antique, Vintage & Collectors Fair at Bellahouston! ❤️

After September’s cancellation, we were pleased to be back and grateful to everyone who came along to support the fair.

To our visitors, thank you for spending part of your Sunday with us. Whether you came with a particular item in mind, or simply enjoyed a look around and a chat, we appreciate your support.

A big thank you to our stallholders too. A fair involves much more than the hours the doors are open — sourcing stock, packing, travelling, setting up and taking everything home again. We appreciate the work you put in and the knowledge you share with visitors. The variety you bring is what makes each fair different.

Thank you also to everyone who shared our posts, told friends about the fair or brought someone along. As a small, independently run business, that support helps us reach new visitors and keep our fairs going.

📅 **Our next Glasgow fair is Sunday 15th November at Bellahouston Leisure Centre.**

Before then, we’ll be at **Ayrshire College on Saturday 31st October, 10am–4pm**, with around 30 stalls, £1 admission and free on-site parking.

GLASGOW FAIR – SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER CANCELLED

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our upcoming fair at Bellahouston Leisure Centre on Sunday 13th September has been cancelled.

We have posted the cancellation on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and our website. However, if you know anyone who regularly attends the fair but doesn’t use the internet, we would be very grateful if you could pass the message on.

We really don’t want anyone making the journey to Bellahouston on the day, only to find that the fair isn’t going ahead.

WE’LL BE BACK ON OUR PUBLISHED DATE OF SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER.

🎶 Ever heard of Gnidrolog?

If not, you’re probably not alone — but serious collectors of British progressive rock vinyl certainly have!

Formed in London in 1969 and centred around twin brothers Colin and Stewart Goldring, Gnidrolog were part of the wonderfully experimental British prog scene of the early 1970s. Their music combined guitars with flute, oboe, saxophone, recorder and even cello, producing a sound often mentioned alongside the likes of King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator and Gentle Giant.

They released just two albums during their original period, both in 1972, before splitting up — and that relatively short lifespan has helped make their original records particularly sought after today.

Lady Lake has developed something of a cult following amongst prog collectors, and good complete original copies can now command several hundred pounds.

Our copy is in lovely condition, with clean orange RCA labels, a very presentable sleeve with a fully readable spine and, importantly, that original lyric sheet still tucked inside after more than 50 years.

It can be available for viewing at the Glasgow Antique, Vintage & Collectors Fair at Bellahouston Leisure Centre, Glasgow on Sunday 16th August. Please message if you are interested in viewing with a view to purchasing.

This is exactly why we always say it’s worth looking properly through a box of records — sometimes the names you don’t recognise are the ones worth knowing! 👀🎵
