One of our first space planning projects is complete, and Lorna went round to visit.

The clients wanted to maximise the space and functionality of their existing kitchen without having to install a completely brand new kitchen. Increasing storage, installing a tall fridge freezer, having space to comfortably fit 6 to 8 people at the dining table and creating a cohesive kitchen/ dining room was the brief.

We provided a detailed space plan that minimised disruption to their existing kitchen layout which saved them money but also delivered all of their desirable elements and provided tips and tricks to ensure the final outcome exceeded their expectations.

The client then implemented the changes and we think it has turned out brilliantly!

Bookcase Nº 1, with the addition of a handy cupboard at the base.

The shelves are made of solid pine, slow grown in Northern Europe, and handcrafted in Scotland. They're sanded, so they're very smooth, stained with our most popular finish, and coated in a premium lacquer.

Hand welded frames - there's no assembly required. The frames are lacquered for a fabulous sheen upon the raw steel patina. There are adjustable feet on the bottom, too.

Solid wood, reclaimed style: Sustainable. Smooth. Protected from spills.

This version is the raw gun metal frame, with a refined rustic solid pine top.

Built to last:

Welded steel frame (not flat pack!): Absolutely solid. Suitable for homes and commercial use.

Proportionate: The bench top is the same thickness as the metal frame. The shelf is slightly thinner.

Solid distressed wood, reclaimed style: Smooth. No large gaps between planks. Protected from spills.

Industrial steel frame: Absolutely solid. Lacquered. No assembly required.

Practical: The seat can accommodate several bums. The shelf lots of shoes.

Solid wood wall shelves have been carefully matched with our brackets to provide just the right amount of organic charm. Not too rustic and not too sterile, they're intended to blend harmoniously with the decor of your room.

Solid wood: No veneers. No plastic. Protected. Smooth.

Made to measure – ideal for alcoves, wall shelves, or radiator shelves.

1 inch thick – sturdy, but they won’t dominate your wall and detract from whatever it is you're displaying on them.

Suitable for plasterboard, masonry, wood walls.

Strong brackets / fixings / instructions included

You’ll need a drill with a 6mm masonry bit & screwdriver; spirit level recommended

Dimensions

2.5 cm thick x 14.5 cm deep; choice of lengths.

An industrial style or minimalist dining table is designed and handmade by skilled craftspeople in Scotland. Built to Order.

Designed to perfectly complement Bench Nº 1 (not included) - the benches fit completely underneath when you're not using them.

The top is made of solid pine, slow grown in Northern Europe, and handcrafted in Scotland. It's full stave, which means that it's made of full planks of pine (rather than small pieces all joined together). The solid wood tabletop is sanded, so it's very smooth and coated in a premium lacquer, which makes it very resistant to spills and stains.

Hand welded frames. They are then lacquered for a fabulous sheen upon the raw steel patina. There are plastic feet on the bottom, too.

Solid Pine Wood: Medium Pine shown. Protected from spills.

Industrial steel frame: Lacquered.

Proportionate: The solid wood table tops are slightly thicker than the bench tops. It looks better.

Built to last: Handmade in Scotland.

Fully Assembled: Fully welded frame - the sturdiest dining table you will ever find! Suitable for homes and businesses (just make sure you can fit it inside as it can't be disassembled).
