Behind the scenes 👐🏻👁️👃🏻👁️👐🏻
September has always felt like a bit of a new start to me. I was born in September, and as a kid it meant a new school year, new notebooks, new things to get excited about, so I guess I’ve kept that feeling🥹
I love a challenge, so this time I worked on throwing the same size cup and bowl, using my hands, pace and rhythm as wee references to keep me consistent. I really enjoyed getting into that flow.💛
From a sgraffito woman vase to a happy-accident cat vase face, because apparently I can’t stick to one thing.🥲
And today, I’m getting my pottery muscles warmed up for the third round of Speak With Your Hands – Italian Pottery! 🇮🇹🏺
Here, a bit of throwing, a bit of carving, a bit of glazing, a bit of experimenting… and a lot of “let’s see what happens.” 🤷🏻♀️
