This is why we love a busy showroom 💛✨

Glass globe pendants stacked at every height, that infinity light glowing against the slatted wall, mirrors doing double duty as light bouncers - this is what "getting cosy" looks like when lighting's your whole job.

Come and lose an afternoon wandering our Edinburgh showroom - every fitting's switched on, every price tag's visible, and our team's genuinely happy to talk you through any of it.

Open 7 days, no appointment needed 🍂

New in: Elin Plum Noir 🍇🍂

Brushstroke-abstract, moody, and layered with plum, charcoal and warm brown - this cushion looks like it was painted rather than printed. The texture in the weave catches every colour differently depending on how the light hits it.

Come and see the full palette in person at our Glasgow or Edinburgh showroom, or message us to order 🍁

Fabric Friday 🌿✨

It looks like ripples spreading across a still pond. Feels like something quietly hand-stitched, not printed. This one turns a simple shade into a proper piece of embroidery.

Beautiful paired with that pale green beaded ceramic base - subtle enough for a bedroom, detailed enough to be the thing people ask about.

Come and see Elodie Lilypad in person at our Glasgow or Edinburgh showroom, or ask us about it on a different base 💫

New in: Pumpkin 🍂

Striped, tufted, and just the right size to earn its keep - lift the lid and there's storage inside, so it's doing more than sitting pretty.

Pull it up beside a favourite chair as extra seating, or let it live at the end of a bed for blankets and cushions you don't want on show.

Perfectly timed for the first of October, if we do say so ourselves 🍁

Come and see the Orange Stitch Ottoman Stool in person at our Glasgow or Edinburgh showroom, or message us to order 🧡

How PERFECT are these light fittings in Nicky Rossiter home 😍

Tonal matches, layered lighting, texture 💫

Everything is so rich, warm and inviting. That’s the Cotterell & Co difference - we can guide you towards your dream home ✨

Proof a floor lamp can be the whole room's personality 🌿

That teal recycled glass base alone is a piece of art - paired with a leaf-print shade, it's doing double duty as sculpture and light source.

Ideal for an empty corner that needs a bit of drama rather than another plain lamp.

Romanticising bespoke shades all Sunday long… 💫✨

Fabric Friday ✨

It looks like the sea just after a storm's passed. Feels like the calm that follows. This one turns any ceiling into a focal point.

Come and see it lit in person at Glasgow or Edinburgh, or ask us about a bespoke shade in your own colour 💙

Another week of bespoke lampshade orders flying out the studio 💫

We’re so grateful! ✨

Marble, but make it lighting 🤎

This one's all about what happens when the light's off as much as when it's on - that brushed steel frame and mottled shade hold their own even unlit.

Perfect for a dining table or a kitchen island where you want something with real presence overhead.

Not sure what size suits your space? Ask us - we size these for the room, not just the ceiling 💫
