EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING ….
After 6 years of I Am Nomad we will be closing the doors of our shop on Great Western Road
I am so proud of the brand but the time has come to focus on our younger brand nomad design - who will be taking over this account
We will be selling off everything in the shop over the next few weeks so maybe pop in one more time and say goodbye 👋
Thank you all for your support over the years from the online to the open houses to the shop

I was trying to think last night how long we have been living in the new flat ... and I was thinking "it must be a few months at least " but actually we have been here over 6 months! And I have barely done a thing since we moved in ! Life / work has completely taken over this year ....
but I have enjoyed a few relaxing hours starting at this corner of the living room - I just love it 🌳

As I am starting all over again I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone who has been kind enough to join my new page
My name is Claire and I started I am nomad in 2018 as a hobby really
I created a website and an Instagram page of a shop curated home ... our Home that we decorated and styled to create a place where you could envisage our products in your home
In 2018 we also opened this house for you to visit
But when covid hit I lost my consultancy job and I decided to bring I am nomad to you in the form of a shop which we opened in glasgow on great western road 2 years ago
In the past 6 months we have also launched our design service
As of Monday this week our business got a blow when our Instagram account was hacked
So really we are starting from scratch here so I apologise if I am posting things that you have already seen
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for believing in my brand and re following me - it honestly is the only thing that is keeping me going 🙏🙏🙏
And to all the other businesses and people out there who have taken the time to post on their stories about my new account I don't know how to thank you ... honestly it is heart warming

I can't quite believe that at this time of the year our Instagram was hacked and I have lost my account - waiting on to get back to me to see if my account can be recovered
It has taken me 5 years to build up my account and to see it all go in seconds is soul destroying

Was just looking through all the gorgeous photos took of the house at Christmas and this one stood out not just cos it’s a great photo but because nearly a year on I can’t get enough of this dining table ♥️♥️

I was at the shop yesterday packing orders and the vibe on GWR couldn’t be any further from this sunny pic - can’t wait to have the doors open again and see all your faces and all your doggies !
Roll on ... whenever that happens !

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE ! I have been pretty absent from insta since Christmas ... thought I would take a little rest and get my head together ready for the 18 th January but seems I have a little longer 🦠
But even though the shutter is down the website is still there and we are having a little clear out getting ready for some lovely new things to arrive in 2021 whenever it’s ok for us to open again
We are still doing click and collect and local deliveries and of course we are still shipping daily
