Hey Folks! Since closing my business I have been coming across some new chocolate/bakery businesses I am now following. Hi everyone! Hope you are all well. Unfortunately it’s looking like the rising costs of running my business are set to continue in 2025.
The decision therefore has to be to close the business. I have loved the last 8 years or so of starting up and running The Wee Chocolate Company and thank you all for helping me turn it into the success it was. I am sure you will understand that continuing with a business that is not profitable and doesn’t pay the bills is just no longer feasible.
It really is a shame however seems to be a regular occurrence with small independents just now.

I do have A LOT of equipment plus the business domain, logo and social media pages (with 5000+followers) which would be a great ready made start up business for anyone interested in taking it over. If you are interested please message me directly at [email protected]

I wish you all well in 2025 and beyond, keep eating chocolate (in moderation of course 😜🤭), keep supporting those small local business in our community and don’t be afraid to take a risk at something new! I did and loved every minute of it!

Time now for an exciting new chapter!!

Hey hope everyone is well.
Apologies for the radio silence the last wee while. There has been a lot going on behind the scenes, personal and business. I have made the decision to pause the business for a few months. Business wise it’s a very challenging time for chocolate businesses - the rising cost of cocoa is making it very difficult and squeezing margins. This is hopefully not the end of The Wee Chocolate Company and I will
be back trading next Spring. In the meantime thank you for your orders/purchases/booking over the last 7 years - and here’s hoping the next 7 are just as amazing!!

Restock day today! The car is jam packed full of chocolate and heading to Giffnock Village Store & Post Office & Sweet P to replenish the chocolate shelves with

Bit of not so good news this morning….
I knew if was coming but still a bit of a shock.
I have tried, despite previous cocoa increases, to keep my prices the same however I really now have no choice but to increase prices. If I don’t I will no longer have a business 😢
So while I do some number crunching over the summer, the prices will stay the same (as I have a decent batch of supplies at old prices), however come Sept the prices will have to increase a bit. I do hope you understand and continue to support when you can 🤞🤞
A good stock of chocolate in Sweet P and Giffnock Village Store & Post Office (at current prices throughout the summer) .
