Well isn’t this exciting!!
I’ll be joining 14 other amazing UK based luthiers to show off our work and talk guitars all day in March next year.
Gonna be a great day. There will be music from Katie Spencer and Ben Walker, a masterclass from Will Mcnicol, guitars everywhere, food and drink…. beer! (its taking place in a brewery!)

So, after much deliberation, i need to shut repairs again. Booking opened 6 days ago and having gone through everything that is in, and due to come in it, is clear that this has to happen to allow the work to be done.
I’ve found it humbling that there is such a loyal customer base and it is greatly appreciated that you choose to bring your guitars to us.
Should be able to accept new work in May.

Accepting all setups and repairs from March 1st.
For the first time in a long long time i’ll be taking a break from building and focusing on repairs for a while.
Neck breaks, cracks and splits, fretwork, setups, restorations… everything!… except for refins!
Details and info is all on the website, minimum charge is £50 (same price as a setup), small fixes can be included in a setup.
Booking for repairs and setups will open on March 1st…

9 years ago today was opening day in the Finnieston shop and marked the start of this ridiculous quest. There have been many twists, turns and traumas along the way but things have so far, more or less, pretty much gone to plan…. Excited for the next 9 🤩

frighteningly it’s getting to that time of year again 🤯.
We are full for repairs for the rest of the 2023… we will be taking new repairs and appraisals again in late january. continue to get in touch via email for queries and costing. as always, regular longterm customers, we’ll do out best to keep you gigging so get in touch….
