Molly and I working our way through 103 volumes of Sir Walter Scott’s works. Pictured above me, this is probably the finest set we have come across. Included with it is a valuation letter from John Smith & Son (The Booksellers my Father worked for before opening his own shop) dated 1933 a bit before his time.

The letter is addressed to the original owner George Gray Stevenson with his nautical bookplate present in all volumes. With binder’s stamp Henderson & Bisset. Please message for further details and full catalogue description. 📚🦮📖☀️
