A Post From Youth Piping & Drumming Group Initiative.

Following the World Pipe Band Championships incident regarding the Novice B results myself and number of instructors have signed a letter to the RSPBA - The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association to call for change and a fresh look at how things currently operate with regards to the junior grades. We can only hope something positive can come from this and there is no repeat of the horrendous situation these schools bands have found themselves in.

We would ask everyone to be respectful. Our hope is for change for the betterment of youth piping and drumming.

A quick post to let everyone know that we have taken the difficult decision to step back as drumming instructors for the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland, due to ongoing family and business commitments. Coaching the drummers in both the senior and development bands over the past 10 years has been a pleasure and we are extremely proud of the high calibre music and concerts they have produced over this time. A huge thank you to every drummer that has come through the ranks during our time and we wish all involved with the project the very best for the future.
