Glasgow (next to Queen St. Train Station). Players and audience must be 18 or over. I'm looking for 3 bands to play each these nights. Keeping it down to 3 bands enables proper soundcheck time and 45 minute sets per band so they can really rock out. Bands please arrive at the Vale at 6.30pm for soundcheck. There are 2 guitar combos and a bass combo provided. (2 x Marshall, Ashdown).Players can bri
ng a wee combo if their particular sound requires it but...

Just no need as venue size does not require huge amplification. Also a Tama drumkit with 3 cymbal stands minus snare, pedal and cymbals. Drummers please bring these. Doors will be 8pm with first band on at 8.15pm, second band 9.15pm and third band 10.15pm. The deal I offer is that A BAND STARTS MAKING THE £5 PER HEAD AFTER BRINGING 8 INITIAL PAYING FANS. IF A BAND CAN'T BRING MORE THAN 3 PAYING FANS A FEE OF £20 WILL BE CHARGED (unless you've been added to the bill within 1 week of gig)
I'm just covering the costs of hiring the venue, a good soundman and a door person. I'm not making ANY profit from ANY of the nights (no matter how busy) as money should be going back to the bands once overheads are covered. This is a hobby of mine! I want to see good bands live and enjoying themselves!! Please be in touch if looking for a date (Last Friday of the Month for as long as this thing goes!)
