This week in the workshop, we've had an all original 1968 Fender Mustang in for a full refret due to the fret wear its picked up over it's lifetime!

Our customer wanted it kept as original as possible, so we measured the original wire, and Jimmy himself did the work required to get it back into shape.

After the new frets were in, we also made a bone nut for it and set it up; it's now back in top playing shape, ready to rock for 60(ish) more years to come 🎸

In the workshop this week, is this 1955 Gibson ES-125 for some modifications and repair!

Were asked to fit a Bigsby B11, along with a Bigsby aluminium bridge, a nickel P90 cover, and some period correct 3-on-a-plate machineheads, so that's exactly what we did!

The guitar also had very low frets, and some uneven ones higher up, as well as a number of splits that had occurred over its life, so after we sorted all that and fitted the new parts, it's now in top playing condition!

Not bad for 71 years young...
