Another 4 beautiful invites, showing off some variations of white wedding invitations!

From laser cut to open card to booklet designs, we honestly can make all different styles of wedding invites.

Some of these beauties were part of weddings that had to be postponed due to Covid and one of them was a very special wedding that I helped the boys plan from start to finish and it was my absolute pleasure to assist them as well as being a guest on their special day too!

Designing invites and meeting my couples are 2 of my favourite parts of my job xx

Four invites that were on show Ingliston on Sunday were from 4 beautiful weddings, some old & some new, but each perfect in their own way!

They included a new years eve celebration as well as a destination wedding and one of them are connected to another beautiful wedding that I'll get to share in September!

Black & White is very much a trend this year and it is always so gorgeous to combine and we have loads of ways of bringing those colours together.

The touch of gold also just adds to it and is just as nice made with silver too!

What a lovely day yesterday Ingliston for the Glasgow Wedding Shows by Blushing Brides wedding show!

Was so nice to meet so many happy couples and families and chat all things weddings! For anyone I spoke to, my show offer will run until Friday so if you'd like to take advantage of that just send me a wee message and we can get you all booked in.

Chatting away to everyone yesterday and looking at some of the designs on show, I was able to tell the story of why our samples are all physical invites we have actually made - some old, some new, some that we just can't bare to part with, but each of them tell a story and are named after the couple they were made for.

This was so special yesterday as the beautiful make up artist working the show found a save the date on the stand from 2019 that belonged to her cousin (I made their stationery back then and could even tell the story of meeting them 🤣). 14 years of making and I honestly still remember all of my couples (I dont know how when I can't even remember my message list without writing it down 🤦‍♀️).

The mirror on show also got lots of lovely compliments and I can't quite believe that's nearly 10 years old and never been re-made - this was actually from my own wedding at Ingliston in 2016!

it is definitely true that some wedding styles are very much timeless! xx

Yesterday saw a beautiful wedding The Torrance Hotel for the lovely Shannon & Steven!

A beautiful white glitter framed table plan was made to match their open card invites. We also match their pink ribbon detail and added a lottle extra touch of glam to the table plan with pearl and diamante brooches.

White & pink is always such a pretty combination xx

On Saturday our beautiful couple got married outside on the banks of Loch Lomond Lodge on Loch Lomond in the most perfect setting!

The Table Plan was made to match Kat's Aesthetics wedding invites perfectly and I absolutely loved making this one!

Black laser, black matt, gold foil, ivory pearlescent card, black ribbon and pearl finishing, with a beautiful pearl heart brooch, made the stationery so elegant and glam - just as Kat wanted 🥰

A perfect day for such a gorgeous couple xx

Next up we had some beautiful on the day items for our lovely couple who married The Redhurst Hotel
on Friday.

This lovely couple contacted me regarding digital wedding invites and although they aren't my norm I really enjoyed making them! They then asked me to help with some of their on the day stationery and it was a pleasure to work on such personal items including their memory table and personalised favour Placecards in memory of a loved one. Alongside these items we also made a beautiful welcome mirror, with the help of the lovely

This week saw a visit to The Corinthian for a beautiful 1st birthday!

Absolute pleasure being asked to provide Table Names, Bow style Placecards and personalised Party boxes for this event. The boxes where a new item for us to add to the portfolio and I loved making these. We sourced all the items to be included in them and even added a little of the theme with a personalised colouring sheet and wooden fairy door for all the kids to paint at home.

Pink and fairy themed was the description and all the suppliers brought this vision to life.

Well folks, this week has very much been one of those weeks where the show must go on!

Being self employed can be amazing but when we face tough weeks out with work it can very challenging so I thought a little honesty as my admin and response times haven't been quite on the ball this week and for that I'm so sorry.

As most of my couples know this year hasn't been the easiest behind the scenes but as always I've continued with all my work - I love what I do but when we're facing things behind the scenes we sometimes lose a little of our sparkle and that's certainly been me this week. That being said the reactions of my couples and clients who have picked up have really picked me up!

We sadly lost our youngest frenchie back in January and this week unfortunately we've had a massive scare with our oldest frenchie now too 😔 so its been vets visits and working hours have changed to late nights as we juggle looking after him between us at home (along with our 2 year old). He has a battle ahead but we'll do everything we can to get him better, just need to keep our fingers and toes crossed for him!

But whilst juggling that we've had so much beautiful items leave HQ including some beautiful baby shower invites, a gorgeous set of wedding invites, personalised cards and on the day stationery for a 1st birthday and 2 beautiful weddings so we've certainly been busy. I'll get sharing everything properly from tomorrow (apart from the invites, their grand reveal will be after the dates) so keep your eyes peeled for some newness!
