Sustainable landscaping in the Paisley area.

This was a contracted landscaping project for Renfrewshire Council, completed using 14 tonnes of Type 1 recycled aggregate across the sites.

At this location, our team installed a dropped kerb as part of the landscaping works.

Using recycled aggregate helped reduce waste and the carbon footprint associated with using brand-new materials, while giving the site a solid, reliable foundation for the landscaping works.

🏡 Another paving project completed by Craig’s Contracts.

This customer had originally contacted us about a new slabbing project but decided to go with another contractor. After a couple of months, she got back in touch with us when the other company had let her down — so we stepped in and got the job completed.

The team:
🔹 Dug down 150mm
🔹 Built a frame to achieve the correct levels
🔹 Filled with 70mm of Type 1 aggregate and compacted
🔹 Laid 30mm of sand and cement mix
🔹 Installed the slabs
🔹 Completed the full project in just 3 days

🚗 Made More Room for the New Car!

When our customer needed extra space to get their new car safely into the driveway, we got to work.

Using a Stihl saw, we carefully cut through the existing concrete wall and removed the section that was restricting access. The wall foundations extended around 3 inches below ground level, so the job required careful cutting and removal.

Once the section was removed, we:
✅ Removed all waste materials
✅ Cleared and prepared the area
✅ Filled the void with fresh concrete
✅ Left the area clean, safe and ready for use

This was a contracted landscaping project for the local authority, Renfrewshire Council, in the Paisley area.

For this project, we used 14 tonnes of recycled aggregate instead of brand-new material, helping reduce waste and lower the carbon footprint of the work.

We removed the loose concrete, brushed down the area, repaired and levelled the concrete plinth, then finished it with 2 coats of Sandtex.

The railings were also refreshed with 2 coats of black exterior satin for a clean, durable finish.
