Back at the sewing machine over the last few days, making a bag for one of my dearest friends who I’m super proud of for starting a new venture. Thought I’d show the process so here’s a couple of pics of how it started and where it is now. Hopefully be able to show the finished article in the next couple of days. Just in the door from work and found this wee parcel waiting for me. Wondering what on earth I had ordered now, I opened it up to find this absolutely stunning wee hot air balloon. This is the second scammer I’ve had message me today. I’m not great with social media and certainly not business ones but I’m switched on enough to know a scam. Facebook tells me to put my location and use lots of hashtags in order to increase my reach but all it does is encourage more of these scammers.

I’m enjoying my wee giveaways. I think I’ll just stick with my modest following of real people if it means not having to deal with this kind of stuff.

A wee day off from the day job, so I sat down at the sewing machine. Blood, sweat and lots of swear words went into this bag! 😂

It’s not often I make a bag for myself, and this was actually going to be another giveaway bag. However, after a wee needle accident, it now contains my actual blood, so I think it’s safe to say this one shall be staying with me! 🩸😂

I’m planning to make another one over the weekend.

I’ve made a couple of these Scotland bags now but none of my bags are ever exactly the same - whether I add a wee keyring or make one slightly deeper, there are always little differences.
As I’m self-taught, I’m always trying new things. This time, I experimented with adding a zip closure instead of my usual magnetic snap… hence the blood and the swear words! 😅

I think it’s turned out okay… what do you think? 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

Well… it seems this little bag is determined to find the right person! 😂

I previously chose a winner for this bag, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to get in touch with them, so I’m giving it another chance to find its new home. 💛

Made from lightweight black denim, with a gorgeous vintage Disney print, pink tartan lining and an adjustable crossbody strap, this little Bonny Bag is ready to head off on a new adventure. 🐭✨

🐴 The next Bonny Bag is ready to find a new home! 💛
This one was inspired by two very special horse-mad ladies in my life - my daughter and one of my lovely friends. 🐎❤️

Made from natural denim, this bag features a beautiful horse cut out on the front, where the raw edges of the denim will gently fray with use making it look even better as it ages. A gorgeous horse fabric to line it with and a handy keyring so your keys are always at hand. I absolutely love how it turned out!
