After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided that it’s time to close Stella & Stokes.
This little jewellery business started as a hobby when my kids were babies and slowly grew into something much bigger than I ever expected. Pieces of Stella & Stokes have travelled all over the world and that’s still slightly amazing to me.
But businesses have seasons, and for me this one feels like it’s reached its natural end. Rising costs, changing priorities and life outside the workshop have all played their part in the decision.
I will be closing the doors at the end of May so if you want to order anything please let me know soon. I will not be having any more of my charms cast as it’s eye wateringly expensive to do - so once the current stock is depleted it will not be replaced. If you have a valid gift voucher please use it before final orders date which will be the 18th of May. I will be unable to accept any vouchers after this date.
To everyone who bought a piece, came to a workshop, sent a message, recommended me to a friend or supported the business in any way over the years — it has meant a huge amount. I have been extremely lucky to have such delightful clients who I really consider to be more like friends and you have all been a joy to deal with.
I’ll still be making jewellery as it is my greatest passion and will possibly return to teaching as I miss it very much - who knows what will happen next. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
