Aside from flood drama, I did have tickets to attend the first « salon of erotic comic books » in Paris. Very specific isn’t it?! So I had to check it out 🤔

The only artist I already knew who was present was ❤️ Petites Luxures ❤️ - If you don’t know this page I recommend that you go have a look 😊 Very tasteful and clever erotic art.

The artist id never heard about but whom I was very happy to discover was Marie Casaÿs - colorful, body positive, kinky and sexy 💋

Overall a very niche but interesting event 🌹

Next I will be attending the « Cult of Beauty » excitions in Barcelona… very looking forward to that!

It is very VERY rare that the shop is closed outside of Xmas day and NY day… but today we are closed 🥺 we are still dealing with the aftermath of the flood, the shop has been looking pretty s**t since (let’s say it how it is) and right now it’s getting worse before it gets better 😔 the carpet is being ripped off, the place is being sanitized, and hopefully soon a new carpet will be installed and the shop will be all lovely again 😔🙏❤️ thank you for your patience and support ❤️🌹

The carpet is still wet but slowly drying, it will be replaced as soon as the workers are available to get started. We are still assessing what can be saved and what is too damaged to be kept…

And now the major worry is that there seems to be another rain storm coming tonight 😔 I am very anxious about how bad it could get… we are hoping to get sand bags in time, trying to figure out how much stock needs to be elevated depending on how high the water could get this time…
How bad would the furniture suffer from another soaking…

But overall, a lot of people in the world are much much worse off than we are right now… so I am still grateful to be safe, that my family and friends are safe, and that my small business will definitely recover from this and will continue to serve people for hopefully many more years ❤️🙏

Titanic vibes tonight at the shop… I am physically and mentally drained. Thank you so much to the three customers who happened to be there when it happened, and who stayed for over an hour to help me deal with this… they might have even been there for 2 hours, I totally lost track of time.
Some damaged stock unfortunately… the shop looks like s**t and the carpet is still soaking wet. We are open for now because I can’t afford to shut for ages… but we will have to close for a few days soon to get the carpet removed and replaced… what a freaking nightmare. Please be kind to us if you visit us soon 🥺❤️😔

We sell this beautiful card at the shop, and it always makes me a bit emotional when someone buys it. I imagine they probably buy it for their partner, but who knows.

Every time, it reminds me that I could never buy this card for a partner. Ever. Because its message wouldn’t be true.

I am a mother, I have a little girl. And her heart will undoubtedly always be the heart I care for most in this world 🌹❤️
