Spring Equinox - 20 March 2022 at 3.33pm (GMT)

The Spring Equinox this year will be a harbinger of great change in the long term but great confusion & upheaval in the short term.

On this day, the Sun moves into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, and the astrological new year begins.

However at 3,33pm the Moon will still be in Libra, quickly moving to Scorpio at 3.45! Traditionally Venus rules Libra and Mars rules Scorpio.

As far as the Lunar Mansions are concerned the Moon moves into the 17th Mansion Al-Iklil at 8.22 am having been in the 16th Mansion Al-Zubana.

Ashmole 396 says of Al-Iklil, that "When the Moon is in this Mansion, buy sheep and beasts and put them to pasture. Wear new clothes. Besiege towns. Wed no maiden. Build and it shall last well. And if you enter into a ship, you shall have anger and sorrow, but you shall escape. Make love days. Take no new fellowship. Receive medicines. Shear not your hair. Buy no servants".

*The Crow Moon & The Lunar Mansions*

The Moon at sunrise was in the 14th Lunar Mansion, Azimech before moving to the 15th, Argafra at 11.26. Argafa is not favourable in many ways.

The Moon enters the 16th Mansion, Azubene, tomorrow at 10.26. Opinions on whether this is good or bad are divided. All agree that it is bad for love but cannot reach a consensus on trade.

Today sees the last Full Moon of the Winter - the Crow Moon.
There has been much confusion about whether this full moon is in Virgo or Libra.
Let me explain! At sunrise today (06:08 GMT) the Moon was in Virgo. However it moved into Libra at 11.26 (GMT). As Moon rise is at 18.26 (GMT) it will be in Libra then.
