Day off and a chance to soak up the Fleadh for ourselves. What a fab day and Belfast was buzzing. So proud of our wee country today.

Another busy weekend for me with two more markets in the midst of Fleadh Cheoil. You will find me Friday evening 4-8pm on Market Square Lisburn with Visit Lisburn Castlereagh Fleadh Fringe Market and on Sunday 12-4pm at Titanic Hotel Belfast Titanic Quarter with the The Fine & Dandy Market. Come and have a look and join in with the festivities, there is so much to see.

Glazing takes far longer than you expect. Somehow you sit down with a few pieces , start applying your glaze and the next thing you know the day has gone. Glazing is what transforms your work and what makes opening the kiln so exciting. Even when you have test tiles recording how your glaze works the kiln can still throw up a few surprises. I wonder what I will find on Thursday morning?
