As the temperature drops and heating costs rise, residents across our Borough need our help to stay warm. You are invited to knit or crochet warm items, either on your own or with your friends or community group. If you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, your handmade hats, scarves, blankets and other warm items will find their way to those who need them most. ๐งค
Items can be dropped off at our donation points in Mossley Mill and Antrim Civic Centre from September 13th to November 14th 2026.
To celebrate 5 years of Winter Woollies, we are also launching the BIG BLANKET APPEAL! Our goal is to fill the Theatre at the Mill with blankets that represent our community and our residents, which will then be donated to care homes. ๐ค
Donate a special blanket sized 30โ x 30โ and help us fill the Theatre!
