Hi everyone a wee update the coke trike and the Guinness paddy wagon are now sold.

Hi everyone, sorry for the long time between posts.
I wanted to take a bit of time away from the builds to play with my own new toy - see pic.
I have reduced prices on several of my builds including the IRN BRU apocalyptic truck, the Coke trike and the Guinness paddy wagon, please see the posts for these.
I hope that some of you are looking for that really special Xmas present.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Here is the Commisioned Guinness Bike that I started back in February (the client doesn't need it until September)
This one has ended up taking about 80 hours over 5 months.
I wanted it to look like something that would be a scary ride hence the V8 engine, stretched hardtail rear end and sprung (style) front forks.
I also gave it a big beefy shaft drive to manage all that power.
I had loads of fun with it but also lots of challenges with getting the dimensions and proportions to fit in with the cans logos and graphics.
As there are no plans or templates for my builds many individual pieces were built 2 or even 3 times to get them just right.
It's around 40cm long x 15cm high and the lights are working from a 12v 1amp transformer.
As usual it will go to the client fixed to a secure base and protected by an acrylic display case.
Love to hear what you all think and please feel free to share.

STILL NOT SOLD, SURELY THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO WANTS TO TREAT THEMSELVES OR A LOVED ONE TO A VERY UNIQUE PRESENT THIS XMAS.
GO ON YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO 😀😀😀

Big Xmas sale, how about treating yourself or that special one in your life to something truly unique and handcrafted.
I have reduced the price from £530 to £400.

I wanted to go for a kind of Mad Max apocalyptic look with this one so it has spiked wheels, massive bull bars, a plough and protected windows.
It also has 2 spare wheels (Spiked), a rear mounted winch and a couple of Jerry cans in the back.
I made the interior lights red and orange to play a little more on the menacing look.
It took around 140 hours to build.
It is quite big at 55cm x 20cm x 20cm.
The lights work of a 12v 2amp power source.
As ever it comes attached to a solid carbon fibre look base and with an acrylic display case to keep it safe and clean.

I hope you all enjoy and share the post and would love to hear what you think.

PS BARRS saw the pics, shared them with their employees and sent me a wee goody bag, see the pic.

With this one I was thinking about the old Bonny and Clyde type gangster cars.
A hotrodded "sedan".
It took around 75 hours and was built a few years back for my own amusement.
This one went to Charlie from Fife.
It was light up from underneath just to highlight the car.
The base is black carbon fibre look and the display case keeps it clean and safe.
Hope you enjoy the pics and I look forward to any feedback.
Please feel free to like and share.

100 hours, about 60 cans, working front and rearights.
Lots of work on cab interior which is red (faux) leather and is also lit.
I found this one a real challenge due to cans being very narrow and having really limited logos.
Supplied in a lit acrylic display case that measures 50cm x 25cm x22.5cm.
Hope you all enjoy.

£200 for a unique xmas present for that special person in your life, what an opportunity.

This one was 120 hours to build.
The display case, base and electronics cost me around £80.
I set out to build a hotrodded paddy wagon like we used to see in the old black and white films.
I made it a single seat cab so I could fit a couple of large nitrus bottles in.
As you can see from the pics I have highlighted the prisoners space with lights, benches and manacles.
Image being in the back of this when it's being driven at full pelt 😅.
It's around 50cm x 20cm x 17cm so it's quite large.
I highlighted the base with a black and gold carbon fibre look to work with the colours from the Guinness cans.
Hope you enjoy the pics feel free to like and share.
Cheers Lindsay.

SOLD
What a cracking unique present for someone special or even an amazing feature item for your own cave, den or desktop.
Discounted from £525 to £350 as I need to make some space.
It's a big one at 50cm x 20x 16cm with base being 60cm x 25cm.
It was around 120 hours to build and I used around 80 cans.
I just set out to make it a wee bit like a mongrel kind of ugly but at the same time kind of cool.
I fitted 2 hidden blue LED's into the cockpit and kept all the cockpit bits silver so it looks good when it's a bit darker.
Blue LED's underneath to highlight and some red rear lights.
All lights run from a 12v 1amp transformer so switch on and forget.
Went with a silver carbon fibre look base to highlight the cans colours.
It will of course come with an acrylic display case for protection.
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Hi everyone, I thought I would just post about cost, commisions, timescales and delivery as i have been getting a massive amount of interest.
The cost, usually it would be something between £325 and £550 depending on build time.
For example race cars and bikes will normally take between 60 and 75 hours and trucks anything up to 130.
I always spend around £100 on each build with electronics, power supply, secure bases, acrylic display cases and the bits and bobs I use during the build.
I look to earn somewhere between £3 and £4 pound an hour in actual build time.
For example a 75 hour bike build would earn me around £225 and then add the £100 build cost = £325.
Delivery, I have had terrible experiences with couriers smashing builds and then refusing to accept responsibility or liability meaning a total loss to me even with the post insured.
I no longer post, if you are within a 100 miles of me I will hand deliver, any further and I would hope to arrange a half ways meet or an alternative that suits the buyer.
Commisions, I will be open and honest regarding start dates, cost and completion dates.
I will take a £50 deposit (usually bank transfer) at the start of a build and the remainder upon delivery, again bank transfer is my preferred option.
Please note I do not do copies of production cars, bikes or trucks and not even of my own builds.
All my builds are unique with no plans or templates it's all just a picture in my head and going from there.
One of my upcoming commisions may be of a hotrodded IRN BRU tank, that would be a challenge and I really hope I get the opportunity to go mad with it.
I also work full time, this means that I usually only manage around 4 builds a year 5 at a push.
Hope all of this helps and allows you all to make informed decisions on whether it is worth making contact with me or not.
As ever I look forward to any feedback positive or negative.
Cheers Lindsay.
Ps sizes are around 55cm x 25cm x 20cm with bikes being a little smaller, display cases and bases are always a bit bigger than the build.
