Handmade By Helen is now open for orders for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter and beyond. Pop-up cards are always popular but if you have an idea and want to challenge me, I’m always happy to discuss it.

A quick round-up of just a few of the pop-up cards I’ve made recently. These can be made in most designs and personalised with your own message.

Lockdown’s provided me with a great opportunity to work on some new projects, using papers I’ve collected over the years.

Here’s a hook and ladder album I’ll be gifting to my daughter, as it’s cat and dog themed and we lost our cat last week.

I’m slowly pulling together a made from scratch album (as in even the base is handmade), using some beautiful Graphic45 papers but I’m now at the point where I’ve only got scraps left.

So there’s nothing for it but to make giant buttons/stoppers for paperclips. More in this project next week...

Just one of the projects I’ve worked on while in lockdown - a mini accordion journal using Graphic 45 papers.

Plenty of room for photos and journalling and with a few pockets for other bits and pieces and it all ties together neatly with a ribbon to keep everything secure.

So this evening’s mission was making this pop up card for a regular (and very lovely) customer. I love how the foiling on these butterflies shimmers. Just the sentiment to add and it’s good to go!

I’ve made pop up cards for years now, in lots of different designs and colours and customers love them. The butterflies are the most popular but I’ve made a chess set, a drum kit, a jungle, a tea party and many more.
