Summer Project Completed !

One of the many summer holidays schools for E G Carter & Co Ltd . 280m2 of vinyl in five classrooms & corridors with capping & coveformer throughout. Unfortunately granwood was present in the existing floor so we recommended to change to a loose lay system from Gerflor UK . Keeping Tarasafe Impression “Riven Nature” in the extension and switching to Taralay Impression HOP Compact “Riven Nature” for the existing. Tarasafe Ultra “Clay” used in toilets & Heckmondwike for mattings. All loose latex scraped and oil grinded off before using F Ball and Co Ltd 1200 pro latex to build up levels to new screed.

Thanks to our suppliers keeping us on track as always…

Brampton Chase Stones - Santorini 🏝️

A bit of prep work was required on this one before the LVT install, due to uneven extension screed. This included the grinding of concrete and a deep fill latex build up of 8mm to 10m2. Followed by a 3mm application of latex to the whole area.

Achieving a modern and natural appearance using this specific tile. 👌🏼

Stone effect tiles can also be paired with design feature strips as an option to create the ‘grout looking’ effect and highlighting each individual tile.

A few installations from the past couple of weeks 🗓️

The team have been busy carrying out a range of different installs including both domestic vinyls and commercial carpet tiles on top of other project preparation works.

Following the uplift and disposal of existing flooring to this property located in Tewkesbury, Cormar Carpets Kingston Elite in colour Bay Light supplied & installed along with 9mm underlay & coir matting to the entrance hall.

A big thank you to Heidi for the kind words as well as supplying the team with extra fuel during installation with a delicious Greggs. 🍩🤩

AGD Systems Limited 🚦

Staircase, bridge, entrance hall & x2 office install at this company’s premises based in Staverton. They contacted AOC Flooring Ltd with the need of replacing their existing carpet due to it being very worn from the heavy footfall throughout the areas. 🚶‍♂️

As discussed with the client a slip-resistant heavy contract vinyl would be a more sustainable option. The vinyl of choice supplied & installed was Tarasafe Impression in shade Modena 0525 in the communal areas plus 2000 PUR in shade Willowbank 8380 in the first floor office.

Opting to maintain a warmer feel to the staircase, Tessera Infused carpet tiles in shade Magic Mood 4500 were both supplied & installed by the team along with Gradus stair nosings and stringers.

We have since received some fantastic feedback from AGD Systems for the work completed by our team at their premises. 🌟

New Build Property Flooring Install - Hunts Grove, Gloucester 🏡

The AOC Flooring team commenced the works to this 3-bed house on May bank holiday weekend to allow the home owners a quick turnaround for moving in after having collected the keys on the Friday afternoon 🔑

For the ground floor, subfloor preparation works included grinding and application of Epoxy DPM followed by a layer of Latex - using products. LVT of choice was in shade Old English Oak in Herringbone Design.

Supply & install of Kingston Classic in shade Bay Light to x3 bedrooms, living room & stairs with landing paired with 10mm underlay.

Finishing with the fitting of Stone Effect LVT to En-suite and Bathrooms in shade Carrara Dark with white feature design strips to create that grouting effect. This followed the installation of 6mm flooring grade plywood.

We have since received some fantastic feedback from the home-owners 🌟

Knight Tile Dutch Limed Oak Herringbone 😮‍💨

Now this is most definitely an eye catcher 👀 Creating a statement piece with this popular colour choice from Karndean.

Supplied & installed 6mm Multi Pro latex to Hallway, Kitchen and Utility area with a build up of 10mm to a section of the Conservatory space. Supplied & installed coir matting to entrance hallway with trim finish and door thresholds throughout.
