We're a friendly community cafe and Christian shop who act as part of the outreach for the Monastery We are the outreach of the Prinknash Monks.

We extend a welcome to Christ in the person of our customers, as Saint Benedict requires in his Rule. We are open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm except for Good Friday, Christmas day & Boxing Day. Morning Coffee from 10am, light lunches and snacks until 3pm. Try our home-made cakes and refreshments. Monastic gifts, Christian books and cards. Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation gifts and de

votional items. We also have a meeting room which is ideal for retreats. If you would like to book this for a day or just a few hours, please email [email protected] and we will deal with your query. Alternatively, call us on 01452 812066.

The Monastery Shop & Cafe will be closed today for Good Friday. We’re open again tomorrow for breakfast from 10am, light lunches from 11:30am and homemade cakes, delicious drinks and ice creams served all day.

EASTER AT PRINKNASH
The Monastery Shop & Café is open between 10am - 4pm everyday except Good Friday when we we are closed.

Services in the Chapel for Holy Week are as follows:
MAUNDY THURSDAY Mass of the Lord's Supper & Watching 6:30pm
GOOD FRIDAY Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord 3pm and Veneration of the Relic of the Cross at 6:30pm
HOLY SATURDAY Easter Vigil Mass 6:30pm
EASTER DAY Holy Mass 8:30am
Please note, there will be no morning Mass except for Sunday
