I’ve been putting this off for a few weeks, but I’m sad to say it’s time to say goodbye to my little chocolate business which has given me so much pleasure over these 7 years, making luxury chocolate truffles and other yummy chocolate treats for you all.

This year hasn’t been good at all with sales orders down considerably and with the cost of living, these luxuries are no longer needed, so sadly it has to go.

Thank you so much to all you, my wonderful customers who have supported my small business over the years, much appreciated. 😍

Well it’s been a while since I posted last, just over a month ago, seems longer!

It’s also been rather quiet since Easter, with prices having to go slightly up and now I’m only offering the 24 choc box as that seems the most popular one, it seems the luxury market has taken a nose dive!

Now with temperatures sky high and a postal strike this week, everything has stopped! So on that note, enjoy the sunshine and as soon as the temperatures drop and summer is over with I’ll hopefully be back. 👌😎☀️🔥

Nothing like an iced coffee with cacao nibs to enjoy on a warm sunny day. 😎☀️

As the temperatures are creeping up here in the UK, chocolate boxes will be sent out on Tuesday only this week. Next week looks even hotter, so don’t think any orders will be made next week, will take one day at a time and let you know in stories how it goes.

My summer flavours are now on the menu and this weeks chocolate truffles are lemon meringue pie, Black Forest gateaux, rhubarb and peanut butter. 🍋 🍒 🥜 Yum! 😋

Back in the Chocolate Kitchen today after Easter, making a few boxes of these in a mixed selection of single origin milk and dark chocolate in coconut, peanut butter, black cherry and orange. 🥥 🥜 🍒 🍊

One client chose his favourites which were these and the rest of the boxes going out today had them too!!

With postage going up in April, these boxes go under small parcel. They have raised the weight to 2kg and also raised the price! First Class postage is now £4.45 and Second Class £3.35!! Crazy! 😝 This really doesn’t help small businesses with price increases going up for everything! So at this stage, you choose what you want to pay, first or 2nd class or even better if you live closer to me in Gloucestershire, you can collect or I’ll deliver locally for free within a 3 mile radius. Or you could order 4 boxes tied together and only pay for one lot of postage? 😊

I’ll leave that for you to decide. In the meantime, happy truffling! 😋

I made these this week to treat myself for my birthday yesterday. Perfect with a cup of coffee/tea, after dinner or anytime in fact!
