There are alot of posts I've seen recently from other memory bear makers explaining how they manage their workload.
Some makers make several orders at the same time, allocating days to planning, cutting interfacing and fabrics, and then bulk sewing parts of the bears together, before stuffing them all. For some this saves them time.
Some makers just work on one order at a time.
There is absolutely no right or wrong way to do this.
For me....I work on one order at a time. One bear at a time. This seems to suit me better.
Also...as I got very busy and stressed last year, working right up until the last week of Christmas, this year has been planned very differently. I only book in 2 bears per week. For me, this works brilliantly. I can allocate 100% of my time to each order, knowing that I have time to spare if fabrics are difficult to work with, or infact, if Im under the weather and cant work.
Only working on 2 bears a week does mean that I'm fully booked for this year and am now taking bookings for February next year. I know that this seems a long way off but rest assured, your precious items are in my safe hands...☺️💕🧸💕
