Anne Lewandowska is the Maker of the Week at Gloucestershire Arts and Craft Centre this week. Here are some great pictures of Anne‘s work.

Anne uses sea glass, shell and other stones, with sterling silver to make fine necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Anne also uses sea glass to produce unique cards that are perfect for any occasion. As well as making jewellery and cards Anne is a talented photographer and she has some of her prints for sale in the shop.

If you are interested in Anne‘s lovely items do pop into the shop at 47 Westgate Street, Gloucester. The shop is open Monday - Saturday from 10am until 5pm and on a Sunday from 11am until 4pm.

This week is the turn of Nick Whitmore () to be Maker of the Week at Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre.

Nick’s strength lies in repurposing and replenishing nature wherever possible. He brings a splash of colour and fun to his creations. Materials used by Nick include garden pots, log wood off-cuts, and glass tumblers collected from second hand outlets and transformed into twinkling glass painted leaded tea-lights, novelty garden decorations and bird houses and feeders to name a few.

Come and visit us in Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre at 47 Westgate Street, Gloucester, to see more of Nick‘s wonderful items and the work of the other artisans in the shop. We are open Monday - Saturday from 10am until 5pm or on Sunday from 11am until 4pm.

We are lucky to have a great group of talented artists in Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre. This week our Maker of the Week is Bridget Cordory (Bridget Cordory ).

Bridget‘s talents lie in batik work using resists to produce beautiful scarves and pictures/cards. Bridget also uses the Shibori technique together with indigo dyes. As part of her work in the shop Bridget runs workshops both in batik resist work and in making and using linocuts.

If you are interested in Bridget’s work why not come into the shop to see what she has to offer. You will also be able to see work from other makers from all over Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre is open Monday-Saturday from 10 AM until 5 PM and on Sunday from 11 AM until 4 PM. We can be found on Westgate Street, Gloucester.

📢 Maker of the Week 📢 is Mixed Textile Artist Sue Dickin

"My mixed textile pictures are made by Layering free style machine embroidery and handstitching on a pin felted, material collage background.

I use a range of textiles to create the palette of colours and textures for perspective."

Sue's work is on display in our lovely shop along with many other local talented artists and makers.
