💚 World Mental Health Day | 10 October

Today is a reminder that mental health matters — every day.

At Gillmans Appliance Specialists, we believe that creating a supportive environment starts with being willing to talk, listen and look out for one another.

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge the stigma around mental health and encourage more open conversations. Sometimes, simply asking someone “How are you really doing?” and taking the time to listen can make a real difference.

Whether you're a colleague, customer, friend or family member, let's remember that everyone has mental health, and everyone deserves support.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s talk more, listen better and support each other. 💚

From where it all started, to where we are today. 👀

The first photo is our current showroom, taken over 10 years ago. The second is the same showroom today, after years of investment, development and upgrades.

The building may be the same, but the showroom, products, displays and customer experience have all evolved considerably.

But before this location became our home, our journey began with our very first shop on Ryecroft Street in Gloucester — the starting point of what would become the business we know today.

We’re incredibly proud of the journey so far and grateful to everyone who has been part of it.
