Having not really posted over the last few months, I thought we should share a few updates of what’s been happening to keep the trees in top condition this year. Back when it was a little cooler we had a busy few days removing a vast amount of cones that the trees had thrown up following the drought stress from last year. Never seen so many which just goes to show how stressed these trees were last year 🔥 looks like next year may be more of the same if this hot weather continues

Back from a very interesting and thought provoking couple of days at Groundswell Festival

What is clear is is how farming and food production are part of the solution and regenerative farming builds resilience in our soils and with many farms operating with very small margins if at all the risk to transition needs to be spread throughout the supply chain. We need to wean ourselves off Ultra Processed Foods and rebuild our connection to real food and for us as all to drive that change.
Fantastic to see the opportunity’s and passion out there, whilst also enjoying a little time to enjoy the atmosphere in the evenings! 🍺👌

On the 17th June I will be part of a team of Farm Consultancy Group members are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge—climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours—to raise vital funds for two incredible charities: The Farming Community Network and Air Ambulances UK.

Both charities play a crucial role in supporting rural and farming communities, providing help when it’s needed most—whether that’s emotional support during challenging times or life-saving emergency response in remote areas.

This challenge will push our team both physically and mentally, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by those these charities support. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help ensure these essential services can continue their work.
