Look at this. No posts for months, then 2 come in a couple of weeks.
A substantial collection bought last week, with strength in Denmark, but also good Liechtenstein, DDR and more Iceland.
It is going to take me a while to sort my way through the 77 volumes and all the boxes of packets for the rest of what's there, but I'm working on it.

I haven't posted for a while, but I thought it was time for an update.
I have had many great new collections in stock in the past few weeks.
I have a collection of Sweden in 18 volumes, with 20th century mint and used including many booklets and booklet panes.
A lovely collection of Russia with strength in the early Soviet period through to the 1950s.
I have had several Germany collections come in including Berlin complete (mostly unmounted mint), and a lot of material to add to my already strong stock of Allied Occupation.
Mint Iceland to early 2000s.
I have recently bought a very good collection of France to 1949, with many rare items and postal fiscals.
Please contact me for further details.

GREAT NEWS AND IMPORTANT NEWS

The great news is that we are now back to our full time hours.
Thursday to Monday 10 am -5 pm inc. Sunday 11 am - 4 pm.

The important news is that we are still collecting milk bottle tops, BUT only milk bottle tops.
When I first asked you to keep these and bring them in I said all plastic bottle tops. I have now been told to restrict it to only milk. (There some juice caps that are the same size as milk, and I don't suppose anyone will mind if they are sneaked in, but don't tell anybody I said)
So please keep collecting, it is after all good excuse to make an extra visit to M and C and The Gloucester Antiques Centre

See you soon, meanwhile as always, stay safe, stay well.

We finally have Boris's go ahead to open on Monday 12th April 2021.
All the usual covid restrictions will be in place, face coverings, social distancing and hand sanitising.
Initially we will be only open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, 11am - 4pm. This will be reviewed weekly.
I have been working hard (honest, I really have) trying to get some of my substantial stock priced and in the stock books.
I am pretty much ready to welcome you back next week or as soon as you are able.
In the mean time stay safe, stay well

WE HAVE A PROVISIONAL OPENING DATE!! MONDAY APRIL 12TH.
Let's hope provisional becomes confirmed, we all have to keep on keeping safe to be sure.
Carl and I are still working hard to get things in more order than they were before lock down. I'm not sure any of our efforts will be as obvious as they were we reopened in June, but I promise you things are progressing in a progressive manner, which is how we like things to progress when things are progressing.
I'm still working on Machins. I suppose the work involved in keeping them up to date has a lot to do with why I get behind. I am currently sorting stamps from self adhesive booklets. I will list them on my website when I have finished. After that I will start on self adhesive and booklet commemorative stamps.
Strangely, in between jobs, I have started sorting Greenland. I have a substantial range of um stamps and FDCs from 1965-2013, though very few mini sheets. Let me know if you need anything.
Thank you to everyone that has phoned or emailed orders for stamps and accessories. It is very much appreciated.
I will keep up to date with any news as I get it. in the mean time, as always, stay safe, stay well

People often say to me "do have a list of ......?"
My reply is always "I don't have time to sort my stock, let alone write about it afterwards"
Well I have time to sort some of my stock, so I am making time to write about it.
As I said in my last post, I am working my Machin stock. Still working on it, but a list of part of it has just gone live on my website. www.mandc-stamps.co.uk
I will be adding to this list over the coming days, and will then create lists for my commemorative stock and possibly regional stamps after that.
My basic commemorative stock is now up to date. I will start working on booklet comms in the next week or so.
If you have any wants for anything on the list, please email or ring me.
I have no plans to list anything other than GB.
Please stay safe and well and I will keep you informed of any updates.

Nearly four weeks into lock down and still working.
At the moment I am tackling my Machin stock. I have some way to go, but will probably be finished some time next week.
I am separating year and source codes, a job I haven't done for three years, so I am a long way behind and Gibbons have completely renumbered some parts as well as doing their usual shuffle on others. BUT I AM getting there, so if you have any wants give me a few more days and email them through and I'll see what I can do. (These are my photos by the way. Good aren't they)
In the meantime, as ever, stay safe, keep well.

We can post or you can collect paid for goods.
