Field from Heaven ✨
There's something wonderfully grounding about holding a piece of the early Solar System in your hand.
This 71g fragment of the Campo del Cielo meteorite—its name meaning "Field from Heaven"—fell to Earth in Argentina thousands of years ago, but the iron it is made from formed around 4.55 billion years ago, at the very beginning of our Solar System.
When life feels a little overwhelming, it's humbling to remember that this tiny traveller has existed through almost all of Earth's history. A quiet reminder not to sweat the small stuff... and to never lose that sense of wonder for the universe we call home.
✨ Sometimes the oldest stories are written in stone.

Bought this beautiful large piece of Holmquistite several years ago, and I've honestly never come across another one quite like it since. Its soft silvery-grey tones are scattered with remarkable star-like sprays of crystals, giving it the appearance of tiny constellations captured in stone.
Holmquistite is a rare mineral, found in only a handful of places around the world, making specimens like this increasingly difficult to find. Sometimes the pieces that stay with us the longest are the ones we know we'll probably never replace.

A little piece of Jurassic history. 🐚✨
This beautiful ammonite was discovered by my husband decades ago at Ashton Keynes, where the rich blue clay once revealed an extraordinary fossil deposit. At the time, it was a true Lagerstätte, with hundreds of beautifully preserved ammonites waiting to be found.
Many were collected, but countless others were lost forever when the site disappeared beneath what is now a lake. This stunning ammonite is a lasting reminder of a remarkable place and a fascinating chapter of Earth's ancient past.

Labradorite has always been one of my favourite stones. At first glance, it might seem dull, but when the light catches it, flashes of colour appear from within. For those of us with chronic conditions, such as Lyme, which can be hard to treat if not caught early, some days can feel grey, and perspective can be hard to see. But just like labradorite, when we shift our attention, a small change in focus or a bit of positive thinking can spark a new light. Wishing you all a little sparkle and a fresh perspective today.
