Goodbye my lovely little shop.
This is a very belated post, as I’ve found it so hard to find the right words … and so hard to feel the emotions!
Although I am continuing Rose and Co as a business, and am looking at expanding and changing (more to come on that in my next post!), I felt heart broken leaving the little shop that gave life to my ideas.
Professionally and personally we’ve been though so much since we first opened; our opening was first delayed because of my health which I continued to struggle with throughout the time at my shop, covid hit just 3 months after opening and we went into lockdown, we lost my beloved Granny who I so wanted to see my shop but never got the chance, we went through infertility and IVF, then surrogacy and the birth of our precious Fable.. and through everything the shop has been a beacon of light for me.
I’ve loved every moment on church street within the walls of what has felt like my own little world, and I’ve loved meeting every customer that has been through our door.
To all our regular customers - thank you so much for all your constant support, it’s been so lovely seeing you all pop in and out for a browse or just to chat. We also appreciated every new customer who has wandered in. It’s been wonderful to make so many connections and friends.
To all my family and friends who have supported us - thank you thank you thank you.
I also could not post without saying a huge thank you to my amazing mother who has worked so often and so hard in the shop, and has been a pillar of its existence. I know so many of you have come to love seeing her and chatting with her.
Also a huge thank you to my father who has done so much behind the scenes, as well as being the one who actually found my shop and helped me bring the vision of my shop to life.
Thank you to my husband who is always ready to help with anything and everything.
Without you all, the shop wouldn’t exist. Thank you.
I hope you’ll stick around for what’s next!
💛
