A huge thank you to Redbox for kindly donating ice cream for our teams at Christopher's, Shooting Star House and our shops to enjoy on a very hot day yesterday 🍦

It was a lovely surprise and a small way of recognising the incredible support our staff give to Shooting Star every day.

From our care teams to our retail colleagues and everyone in between, we’re so grateful for everything our teams do to support the babies, children, young people and families we care for.

Thank you, Redbox, for helping us treat our wonderful teams!

Results Day can be a day of tough emotions for children and parents alike. For some, it marks a milestone they have worked towards for years, while for others, it can be a reminder of milestones that will never be reached.

We’re thinking today of bereaved parents, and of children and young people whose conditions mean they are unable to sit traditional exams.

We know that Results Day can look very different for every family, and whatever emotions today brings, we’re holding you in our thoughts. 🩵

When carpenter Neil Gilfillan heard about the work we do at Shooting Star, he wanted to find a way to use his skills to support the children and families we care for🩵

The result? This beautiful handmade bench, now taking pride of place in the garden at Christopher’s🌿

A huge thank you to Neil for generously giving his time, talent and craftsmanship to create something that will be enjoyed by so many families.

Happy 21st birthday to Shooting Star House, our Hampton based hospice! 🎂

For the past 21 years, our doors have been open to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, providing care, laughter, support and precious moments together.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the last 21 years. Here’s to many more💙⭐

Tracie has been nominated and shortlisted for both Nurse of the Year and Nurse Leader of the Year in this year's Nursing Times Awards!

Tracie shared, "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to those who nominated me. Whatever the outcome, being shortlisted for these prestigious awards is an honour in itself, and I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of nurses and nurse leaders in our profession."
