🎣 PRESTON OFFBOX PRO POLE SUPPORT 2026
What’s new… and what’s good? 👀
For years, Preston’s Offbox range has followed a tried-and-trusted formula — black square box section, familiar Preston knuckles and traditional hand wheels.
For 2026, they’ve moved away from that — and we like it. 👍
The new Pro Pole Support uses a heavy-duty, multi-faceted box section on both extending arms, giving the whole support a much more substantial feel.
So what does that actually mean on the bank? 🤔
👉 More rigidity
👉 Less flex
👉 Greater resistance to twisting
👉 More strength without resorting to a bulky double-arm design
👉 All while retaining the lightweight advantages of aluminium
Preston have also redesigned the locking system, introducing larger knuckles and a new quick-release lever locking mechanism. It feels solid, makes adjustment quicker and saves messing around with hand wheels when you want to change position. 👌
A particularly clever touch is the removable front bump bar. One quick release and it can be taken completely out of the way — ideal when netting fish, when your keepnets are directly in front of you, or if you switch to feeder fishing, short pole or down the margins.
No bar sitting there getting in the way when you simply don’t need it.
It would have been very easy for Preston to stick with the familiar Offbox formula.
Instead, they’ve actually rethought it. 💡
Stronger. More rigid. Quicker to adjust. More versatile.
Nice move, Preston Innovations👏🎣
