That's it! End of that chapter of my life. Salems Corner is officially closed.
I would like to thank all my customers for supporting me and my little shop over the last 4 years. I have met a lot of people, made new friends, a few fruit loops too but they are all lovely and they supported and encouraged me to do what was best and right for me.
But most of all, I would like to thank my partner Antony and my daughters, Penny and Rosie, for all their love and support. I don't know how I would have got through this week without it! 🙂 ###

Whilst emptying my shop today a couple walked by and we heard them say, " didnt think they would stay open long!" My partner just said, "shes bn here nearly 4 years!" How ignorant are some people!! I bet these people never thought once to pop in to my shop and have a browse but instead would rather judge!
Covid did a hell of a lot of damage to small businesses and if anyone survived and is doing well after it then good luck to you! You deserve it..
My business on the other hand hasnt, along with all the others that have had to close! Its not that we have failed, its the world we live in today that has failed us! Online shopping for instance has taken over most high street retailers and small businesses like myself! Anyone that isnt in the retail business has no idea what we go through to make ends meet and hit our targets at the end of the month! Not too long back i took £2.40...in a WEEK!! My health hasnt helped either as this also has contributed to me not opening as often as i should have and thats why i have closed my business down.
So for those that walk by an empty shop and comment that they knew they wouldn't be open for long, just ask yourself why and stop been judgemental!
Its true what they say, Use it or lose it! Shop local and stop lining the pockets of those greedy CEOs!!

The decision has been made and its with greatest regret that Salems Corner will be closing due to unresolved health matters.
Everything must go so I will be having a sale, as well as fixtures and fittings.
Can anyone that has goods in the shop please collect within the next 3 weeks.
This has been a very hard decision for me but my health comes first.
I'd like to thank everyone that has supported me in the past 4 years.
