💪 HARVEY TURNS IT AROUND ON HARDWICK!

Not every successful session starts with rods tearing off from the first night – and Harvey Smith's recent trip to Hardwick Smiths on the Linear Fisheries complex was proof that perseverance often pays the biggest dividends.
The Guildford angler endured a frustrating start to his 72-hour session, struggling for action during the first couple of nights while many anglers would have been tempted to sit it out and hope for the best. Instead, Harvey stayed focused, watched the water and trusted what he was seeing.
That decision proved crucial. Spotting fish showing, Harvey switched tactics and presented a 12ft zig soaked in S7 Amino Smoke, putting a bait right in the zone where the carp were spending their time. The move paid off handsomely when a stunning 28lb 2oz mirror slipped over the net cord, breaking the deadlock and giving the session the boost it needed.
With confidence restored, Harvey continued to stay mobile and made another key decision – moving swims to stay on the fish. Fishing over a gravel bar at around 20 wraps, he introduced a tempting mix of Omega-XTR pellets, Secret 7 boilies, sweetcorn and Crayfish Hydrp Spod Syrup, while presenting PB wafters over the top.
Two further twenties followed from the baited area, turning what had looked like a difficult trip into a successful one.
