Cormar Carpets loop pile runner on these amazing solid Ash stairs(I know, I know) to finish this stunning barn off.

Landing finished with Stairrods UK Ltd Ali zee bar and utilising the new Geordie claw to give the upholstered finish.

Apologies for lack of posts but we’ve been busy and nothing really making the wow impact- until this 😍

Oneflor Europe light amber oak herringbone throughout this lovely new build, border work in hall to highlight the area. The black stripping ties in the black fabric edge on the stairs. The herringbone carpet from fibre flooring finished with black fabric looks stunning.

The dog is just too cute 🐶

Harvey Maria in the bathrooms and cloakroom for a fresh and funky design which looks great in the new Aubrey design.

It’s almost sunk in what happened last week.

Boring bit incoming……

Few pictures from one of the highlights of my working career. Work was judged from first nail to finishing touches. Even finished on the timed limit.

We had to do a few things to be graded. Click Lvt on the top platform and flowing over on the diagonal to match, inc wrapping around the internal and external corners of the step.

Bottom platform was stick down Lvt with two hand made oval shapes intersecting each other. The plan was changed first thing Tuesday morning which threw a curve ball at me. We dealt with but not without a few stressful moments.

I’d like to thank all the judges for the conversations and stick for being a UK guy in your country, the competitors who really made me push my limits, the sponsors, all who have helped me along the way. The numerous Americans who gave me the support and encouragement. Lee and Keith for travelling with me so I didn’t have to face it alone. Matt and all Floorskills staff for everything over the last 12 years.

My family as always who never let me believe it wasn’t possible.

To be the 1st UK Lvt fitter of the year was special but to now be the 1st ever USA installer of the year from a different country hits a little different.

Thanks for all the txts, calls and comments- it really does make a difference.
